Build a Backpack & Give Back w/ @FewOnline

Fashion Empowering Women Foundation's current community engagement drive is a back to school drive intended to support 600 kids living in poverty in the Metropolitan area.
In partnership with Defeat Poverty DC, The Carolina Kitchen and Hilton Hotels, they hope to meet their goal of $6000 for 600 backpacks filled with school supplies for  kids in DC's Ward 8, Prince George's County and Alexandria City Schools.

As of August 5th, they are $3,450 away from their goal so make sure to support this great cause.
The nonprofit is accepting backpacks filled with basic school supplies for students of all ages, please find the supply list on the donation page.

We also invite you to join Team FEW on the 25th of August at Johnson Middle School as part of DC Public Schools Beautification Day from 8a-1p.
During that time, they will host a short program thanking generous donors, partners and volunteers and presenting the donations to Dreams Work.
We encourage all volunteers to register by August 18th to ensure the school has the necessary number of volunteers.
